Helpers

August 19, 2012

The Lord brought three  helpers for his ministry. They handed out cups, tracts and bottles of water  and helped to minister to the street people. There were approximately 30 people that gathered around us for spiritual and physical food.

Christmas 2010

December 1, 2010

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus,

Our hearts are overjoyed with praise to Jesus because it is that special time of the year again – Christmas Season!

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)

We praise Jesus for what He did for us at Calvary, and for what He is doing for us right now, and for God’s keeping grace in this dark hour. Thank you for praying for Jonathon, his open heart surgery went very well. God supplied us two buses; even the gas to bring the bus to Winnipeg over 100 miles. When Ron went to pay for the bus safety; the owner of the garage said, “No charge” Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! We do thank Jesus for supplying over 300 pounds of flour to make the bannock since our last newsletter in June. Praise Jesus for a specific answer to prayer; an accountant for our mission, a very precious woman that God brought into our path; Pat Edwards. Another specific answer to prayer; two new members joined our board; Brother Tom Plett and his wife, Annie. When the other accountant completed our last year’s income tax, he wouldn’t take the check Ron handed to him. To God all glory and praise!!!!

A special highlight this year; we were very priledged to join with the Wesleyan Holiness Association in Indiana, and God made a way for us to attend most of their camp meeting in Orleans, In. We received a lot of spiritual help from Jesus while listening to Bro. Rollin Mitchell and Bro. Tom Bell’s God’s anointing messages and we met many more brothers and sisters in Christ. Another wonderful blessing; we were able to bring our nine year old grandson, Baba. He loved the Children’s services. He is already making plans to come back with us next year.

Recently, Janice went down to the area where we feed the homeless, very dangerous area, the Spirit of the Lord told her to get off the bus just before Main Street. Close to the bus stop, she saw a young woman sitting by the sidewalk crying very hard; Janice sat down beside her and put her arm around her; Carol said she was staying in a Woman’s shelter and she had a relapse. After Janice prayed for her, Carol was really encouraged because she knew Jesus helped her. Then while Janice went walking across the street she met another woman, Monick, she said she was praying for God to lead her to a Christian. The bus stop that Janice was waiting in, one woman told her that a man was murdered in

there last month. “Have I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” (Joshua 1:9)

The Lord kept the weather exceptionally warm for us to have our regular street meetings up until the middle of November. Last Sunday the weather was -37 below with the windshield. About 35-40 street people came to gather around us for us to minister and feed them. We are in the process of getting the bus ready for the street meetings. We still need to get the seats welded together on the sides to be able to have more room for the meetings. We love those street people so much, we just want to help them to Jesus! Our hearts are still burdened in prayer for a building. God will answer in His perfect timing.

God is moving very much on the inmates at the prison chapel. Close to seventy have been coming to chapel service each Sunday. Janice and I have Bible Study, and seasons of prayers with whoever would be led from God to join us each Sunday evening and we teach them choruses to learn to sing when they are facing much opposition. They are hungry to know more about Jesus. One very huge man, Fabien; we were told that many of the men are afraid of him. He has been sitting with us and he is really hungry to know the truth. We gave him a study Bible on Sunday, and he was so happy to receive it. Please pray that he will get saved. Please remember Janice in prayer; the Chaplin asked her if she would preach again soon.

Once again we do praise God for all your blessings and for all your faithful prayers for all of us and for the work called us to do. It is such a wonderful privilege to work for our precious Lord Jesus. God’s riches blessings on each of your families this Christmas and may Jesus draw each of us closer to Him in the new year. Our personal testimony, “Just a closer walk with thee”.

Please help us pray for these requests:

FUNDS for-bus insurance -vehicle gas -basic supplies, cups etc.

Love and Prayers,

Ron & Janice & Family
