Thank Jesus!!!

A couple of people drove up to Ron and I while we were handing out tea and bannock; they gave us 48 bottles of water last Sunday. It was very hot out so the street people were so happy. We go out each Sunday on the street at Jarvis and Main  for 1:00 pm. If God lays it on your heart to come and join us or to bring a blessing such as clothing, personal items, tooth brushes for the street people etc. that would be so appreciated!!!

November 30.2011

Merry Christmas to all our precious families in Christ,

Jesus the absolute story, the most miraculous gift, and the blessed hope of all who believe. “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” (2 Corinthians 9:15) One word that is on people’s minds at this special time of the year is, “gifts”. Buying gifts for each other or exchanging gifts; but the greatest gift of all is when Jesus gave Himself on that old rugged cross for your sin and mine that each one of us could be pardoned and sanctified as we live in obedience to His divine will. The only gift that He wants from us all is:

What can I give Him poor as I am
If I was a shepherd I would give Him a lamb
If I was a wise man I would do my part
What can I give Him
Give Him my HEART

Each day as Janice starts her prayer she thanks Jesus for all the natural resources – heat, lights, water, flushing toilet; than essential needs – roof over our heads, food on our table, clothes on our back; shoes on our feet, a comfortable bed to sleep in and a pillow to lay her head on. Some people in the world are not so fortunate but are lacking in some of these basic needs and natural resources. May our precious Lord Jesus remind us to be thankful every day for all that we have; for what He is doing for each of our lives and to realize that Jesus is the reason for the season. Thank God for the gift; breath of life.

Ron and I are very thankful to Jesus for the many gifts He already gave us this past year; as much flour as we need to make the bannock for the less fortunate on the street that are closest to the heart of God. (Matthew 25:35) “For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger and ye took me in.” Praise Jesus! There is a place to park the bus once it gets in operation, half a block from our home the manager at the Good will store said yes. Their organization already donated many back packs for the street people. There were KJV Study Bibles and holiness literature that was donated to us for hungry souls that want to know more about Jesus. Ron and I started distributing holiness preaching CD’s from Brother Hatfield’s God anointed messages to whoever would like to grow more in the Lord. Even though Janice and I struggled this past summer financially (minimal support); Jesus still seen fit to send us in a whole cow, a banana box of beets, which Janice made 36 pints of beets. Jesus never fails when we are faithful to Him. He is faithful to the faithful!!

Each answer to prayer is also a gift from God. Another specific prayer; Brother Ron and Sister
Anita Favell joined our organization as two more directors. God made a way for us to attend most of the camp at Weslyan Holiness Campmeeting in Orleans, Indiana. Our grandson Baba came along with us to camp. The services were heaven sent with Bro. Light and Bro. Atwell. It was so encouraging to be able to spend a lot of time in prayer in the early morning prayer meeting in the chapel and women’s prayer meeting before the services interceding for lost souls.

Praise God for how He is helping the guys at the prison and after praying for almost two years God seen fit to open the door for altar call service once a month with the native group volunteers. In October 4 or 5 guys went forward for prayer. We are so inspired how Marcel is getting closer to God. Recently he kept asking Janice if she was praying for him. He said when he gets out he wants to come and join us in our services and talk to the people. In June Edward started to join us in our prayer and fellowship group. He is selling out for Jesus and he is taking a minister’s Bible study chorus.

Thank the Lord for His protection and faithfulness during the street meetings. Janice was preaching on Acts (19:8 – 20) sharing how God has power to deliver demons out of people. Edward who was demon-possessed came forward and was crying out for deliverance. While we prayed with him we saw the power of God at work in our midst. Another time Janice was preaching, one huge man came right up to her and said he had the devil in him. At that some street meeting, one man had a very peaceful presence; possibly an angel unaware. Janice and I had a wonderful opportunity to lead one woman, Sandy back to Jesus. She admitted that she backslid and got involved in false religion. She couldn’t stop thanking us. To God all glory and praise!! Steven and Charles just recently got out of prison and they are coming over to our home for Bible Study and are helping us on the street. Ron and I were very privileged to have Brother and Sister Hays help us on the street and come to the prison chapel with us this fall.

Once again we appreciate all your fervent prayers for us here, and blessings you were lead by Jesus to shower us with. We love & appreciate you all.

We went to look at a building recently. It would be very idealistic for this ministry. It is just up the street where we have our street meetings. It is for sale. We are in great need of funds for it but God knows what we need. Where God guides!!! God provides!! We have access to a heavenly bank account that is unlimited. God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and all the wheat (flour) too!! We hope for those things we see not. If it is God’s will it will work out!!!!! It will be twenty years in the new we have been reaching out to the homeless people from the back of our vehicles.
Love and prayers,
Ron and Janice

Greetings to all our families in Christ during this special Christmas Season,

Praise God for sending His only begotten Son, into this sinful world to be born as a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes for the purpose to save you and me that we could spend eternity in heaven with Him forever; knowing that Jesus is the real reason for the season. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10, 11) “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)

Our hearts are full of praise for all the blessings the Lord seen fit to bless us so far this year; over 880 pounds of flour to make the bannock, many banana boxes of vegetables: beets, onions, green and yellow wax beans, cabbages, bread; personal packets, scarves and knitted hats for the street people, more holiness preaching CD’s, over 2000 pounds of potatoes since August and 2000 paper lunch bags to divide food for the hungry. Praise Jesus for a specific answer to prayer; Pat was able to complete the income tax for our mission at no cost. Another specific answer to prayer – $500.00 for the bus windows that needed to be installed before the safety could pass inspection. As well Ron and I were reinstated again to the prison chapel services each Sunday evening. In addition to all this, Ron and I had the wonderful privilege to pray with individuals who wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts during the street services, the prison chapel and bus services. To God all glory and praise!!!!

Praise Jesus for reaching down to a Drako (Baba) our grandson in July; he accepted the Lord Jesus into his heart. At our house prayer meeting, Kristine and Suzanna also accepted the Lord. During one of our meetings one of the prisoners that was released who came to our house prayer meetings often, said to me, ”If the Chaplain can make it, and Ron can make it, so can I.” He was referring to when they spent time in Prison, too.

Another special blessing from our Lord; Brother and Sister Brewer came to our home for a visit in May. They both were such a spiritual encouragement to Ron and me. Brother Brewer preached on the street and the people were very reverent to His message. Our daughter, Goldie and her husband, Chris were privileged to have Brother Brewer dedicate their precious baby girl, Keziah back to Jesus.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) Ron and I were suspended from the prison chapel from February to May. “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12) To God all glory and praise! Through much tears and much prayers God answered in a miraculous way!!!We were reinstated back to regular prison chapel weekly services in May.

God is moving in tremendous ways at the prison chapel; Ron and I are having many open doors and special times of fellowship and prayers with the guys. We have had the wonderful opportunity to help introduce Marcel, Christian and Perry to the Lord. When Ron was holding the Bible against Marcel’s leg while we were praying with him to accept Jesus into his heart; Marcel told us that it felt like the Bible was burning through his leg. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

THANK YOU JESUS!!!! The bus (Mercy) is in operation on the street. Ron and I started taking God’s church on wheels in August to minister to those precious street people on Wednesday evenings at the same location where we minister to the street people. At the first bus service; we prayed for Evangeline for a healing touch from cancer. Recently she came on the bus again and told us her Doctor said she was cancer free. Praise God! Aaron was the first to accept Jesus into his heart during one of the bus services. Each year a safety inspection needs to pass on the bus or the bus won’t be able to get a new safety. In August the safety failed due to 6 windows with condensation in them. I sent out an email for $500.00 to buy new windows. The next morning an email was sent back for Ron to pick up the $500.00 for the new windows. And Brother Tom Plett paid for the safety. Glory to God in the highest!!!

God is blessing the street meetings, too. Even though winter is here; last Sunday was exceptionally warmer with around 55 – 60 people on the street corner enjoying the blessed Holy Spirit’s presence. During one of our street meetings one man came up to Janice after she finished preaching her message; he said he heard her preaching from his 8th floor suite in the building where he lives across the street. Praise God! Ron and I prayed with Joanne, Destiny, Larry, and Valerie on the street; they wanted help from Jesus and Joanne prayed to accept Jesus into her heart.

We are so grateful for all the helpers who hand out cups, tracts, vegetables, and help us pray for those who are in need of a spiritual and physical touch from God. Thank Jesus for Charles, Samantha, Derek, Tony, Terry, Pam, Raymond, Kevin, Stewart, and Eugene who have been faithfully helping us in this labour of love for our Master. Neil has set up the first website and Terry was able to set up the other mission website; Sheri, Jonathon and the boys helped put the name on the bus.

Once again, we appreciate all your Prayers, love and blessings you shower us with and may our precious Jesus bless each of your families this Christmas season and save our families in the New Year. Ron and I love and appreciate you and your families very much!

Prayer Request:

Financial needs for the street and bus ministry, insurance, gas, cups, etc.
Building towards the street ministry – please help us pray for a specific store front building just down the street where we minister to the homeless. It is still available.
Charles – he wants prayer to get back to Jesus

Love and Prayers,

Ron and Janice

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelations 3:20

We are rejoicing in Jesus for all His great help during the bus service. There were four new people who joined us in fellowshiping with Jesus. One of the men on the bus invited Ron and me to go and pray for a young man who was battling with suicide thoughts. We went and the Spirit of God fell on that rooming house; the Lord Jesus delivered that young man from demon possession. Praise God!!! His wife asked Jesus into her heart too; another man from another suite wanted prayer as well. He went and got his friend and Jesus was able to meet their needs also. Glory to God!!!!!

Special Prayer Request “Building for Street Ministry”

Please help us pray for this building for the Street Ministry; God has been laying it on our hearts to pray for it for a year already. Its still available!!!! We’ve been ministering and feeding the homeless from the back of our vehicle each Sunday for 20 years already and its gets extremely cold during the winter when the wind chill gets 40 below zero or colder. If Jesus lays it on your heart to help donate any amount towards this specific need. We appreciate it abundantely and trust the Lord to bless you in return. Unfortunately we are unable to give you a tax deductable receipt because we are a non-profit organization.

Luke 15:7

“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

Praise God!

Jesus opened the windows of heaven and sent down  a visitation of the blessed Holy Spirit in our midst during the bus service. Aron accepted Jesus into his heart.
